Countries have worked on quality, attractiveness and good governance to make VET more equitable and more relevant ...; [Leggi tutto...] This third review of joint work to modernise VET endorsed in 2002 by European countries, the European Commission and European social partners indicates that the coordinated approach in the Copenhagen process is driving change forward. Since 2006, work on common principles, guidelines and tools has significantly progressed. European and national agendas for VET are aligning. Countries have worked on quality, attractiveness and good governance to make VET more equitable and more relevant to labour market needs. But progress varies. Policy learning and support are gaining in importance. Looking to the future, countries see a need to continue work on current priorities. To ensure Europe will have the highly skilled workforce it needs in an ever uncertain future requires even stronger focus on education and training. Investing more in skills in times of economic downturn is paramount to be ready for the recovery. Cedefop's analysis is based on country self-assessment reports from Directors-General for Vocational Education and Training, reports provided by Cedefop's reference network (ReferNet) and other available expertise and evidence, including Cedefop and other research findings and statistical data. - Questa terza analisi sul lavoro congiunto intrapreso nel 2002 dai Paesi europei, dalla Commissione e dalle Parti Sociali europee al fine di modernizzare la VET (Vocational Education and Training) in Europa, indica che l’approccio coordinato adottato a Copenhagen sta portando avanti positivamente il processo cambiamento. Fin dal 2006, infatti, il lavoro secondo principi comuni ha segnato notevoli progressi e le agende nazionali si stanno progressivamente allineando a quella europea. I Paesi hanno lavorato su qualità, attrattività e buona governance nel tentativo di rendere i propri sistemi di istruzione e formazione professionale più equi e rispondenti ai bisogni del mercato del lavoro. Sebbene i progressi siano variabili, le politiche educative e di sostegno stanno guadagnando importanza nell’obiettivo comune di garantire all’Europa la migliore e più qualificata forza lavoro; a maggior ragione in tempi di recessione economica, i Paesi riconoscono la necessità di puntare su istruzione e formazione per preparare una possibile ripresa. L’analisi proposta dal Cedefop si basa sulle relazioni di autovalutazione sui sistemi nazionali di VET (rese dai Direttori Generali per l’istruzione e la formazione di ciascun Paese), sui rapporti forniti nell’ambito di ReferNet (Rete di riferimento del Cedefop in materia di VET) e su altre esperienze e testimonianze disponibili, inclusi i risultati di ricerca e i dati statistici resi disponibili dal Cedefop e da altre fonti.

This compendium of national public CSR policies in the EU identifies eight topics which reflect current CSR priorities and trends. Sections are included on socially responsible supply chain management, reporting and disclosure, and further chapters explore the potential of CSR in areas such as climate change, small and medium-sized enterprises, socially responsible investment, education and public procurement. This document provides a timely update on main Member State CSR priorities and will inform the Commission’s future work.

Abstract/Sommario: The past decade has seen intense curriculum reform in vocational education in Europe. This has been the result of national policies that seek to make vocational training more attractive, efforts to make economies more competitive by developing skills, and the introduciton of European policies and tools for transparency. Learning outcomes now provide the foundation for curriculum design in all European countries, but these are not understood in the same manner in all countries. Learning outcomes now provide the foundation for curriculum design in all European countries, but these are not understood in the same manner in all countries. This Cedefop comparative study looks at how curriculum reform based on learning outcomes has affected two sectors: tourism and electronics. The study covers 32 countries participating in Education and Training 2020.
