It’s structured into 3 chapters: people and society, the economy and trade, and the environment and natural resources. This publication complements 2 of Eurostat’s flagship publications, Key figures on Europe and the Eurostat regional yearbook. For some readers, it offers an introduction to EU and international statistics, while others may use it as a starting point for exploring a broad range of data. These statistics are freely available on Eurostat’s website and in Statistics Explained, as well as from a variety of international organisations.

Abstract: This Special Eurobarometer survey towards automation and AI in working life. More particularly, the study covers the following topics: General perceptions of the impact of digital technologies; Proficiency with digital technologies; Awareness of and experience with digital technologies, including AI, in the workplace; Attitudes towards these digital technologies and their use in the workplace.

Abstract: Il Rapporto ha l’obiettivo di presentare i principali risultati derivanti dal secondo ciclo dell’Indagine sulle competenze degli adulti (Survey of Adult Skill) realizzata nell’ambito del Programme for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies (PIAAC) dell’OCSE. Il focus è sull’Italia in comparazione con gli altri Paesi e le Economie partecipanti al Programma. Nel Rapporto è dato, inoltre, rilievo alle differenze territoriali presenti nel nostro Paese, presentando i risultati d ...; [Read more...] Il Rapporto ha l’obiettivo di presentare i principali risultati derivanti dal secondo ciclo dell’Indagine sulle competenze degli adulti (Survey of Adult Skill) realizzata nell’ambito del Programme for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies (PIAAC) dell’OCSE. Il focus è sull’Italia in comparazione con gli altri Paesi e le Economie partecipanti al Programma. Nel Rapporto è dato, inoltre, rilievo alle differenze territoriali presenti nel nostro Paese, presentando i risultati disaggregati anche rispetto alle aree territoriali. Oltre a descrivere la situazione dell’Italia e dei suoi territori in relazione al possesso di competenze cognitive della popolazione adulta nei domini della literacy, numeracy e problem solving adattivo, si dà conto dei fattori che più frequentemente determinano variabilità nel bagaglio di competenze di cui gli adulti sono dotati, nonché dei differenti risultati, in termini professionali e sociali, che derivano da differenti investimenti in capitale umano. Una parte del Rapporto è dedicata all’analisi dei cambiamenti nel tempo, ossia al confronto tra i risultati raggiunti nel secondo ciclo dell’indagine e quelli del primo ciclo, sempre in termini di competenze cognitive possedute dalla popolazione adulta.
